Elver poaching happening in Bedford park near DFO office
(Source: Saltwire) BEDFORD, N.S. — There’s a fyke net setup each evening in the Sackville River where it runs through Fish Hatchery Park in Bedford.
The net is set up in broad daylight by a man driving a red Ram pickup truck who presumably doesn’t have a licence (DFO closed the season on April 15 based on its estimation that over half the quota had already been caught illegally).
